Description
Williamson is a name used to sell a Laphroaig whisky to independent bottlers. It is named after the famous distillery manager and owner Bessie Williamson who steered Laphroaig to success in the US before and after World War II. Bottled from Oloroso sherry hogsheads at 10 years of age, this whisky is Islay to its core with massive seaweed and bonfire characters. It is bottled at 47.5% and limited to only 1139 bottles.
