Description

This first ‘classic whisky’ release in the Whisky Works series from Gregg Glass, formerly of Compass Box, has been produced at a now silent grain distillery in Glasgow. Aged for 29 years in American white oak casks, mostly in traditional dunnage warehousing, this limited edition has been bottled at a natural cask strength of 54.2% abv and is limited to just 1,642 bottles.

The nose is sweet with butterscotch and vanilla, wood spice and desiccated coconut emerging too. The palate brings more creamy butterscotch and rich custard with apricots and buttered popcorn, before a smooth and sweet finish.
