Description
Part of the second wave of whiskies from independent bottler Whisky Works, this Speyside single malt was distilled in September 1998 and matured in American oak for two decades before it was finished for seven months in 20-year-old Cognac casks from the Bourgin Estate in southwest France. Bottled in 2019, this is a sweet, floral whisky, with aromas of citrus, violets and sweet, grassy herbal notes on the nose. The palate offers notes of creamy milk chocolate, golden syrup, ginger and strawberries & cream.
