Description
This expression of Irish whiskey has been named after the 2nd generation Master Distiller Barry Crockett. Born and raised on the grounds of the Distillery in the Distiller’s cottage. A personal selection of old and elegant distillates which have matured in seasoned bourbon casks, with the subtle contribution of a pot still whiskey which has spent over 18 years in an unseasoned, ‘virgin’, American oak barrel.
Tasting Notes
Nose: Elegant aroma of vanilla and toasted oak complimented by a touch of lime, succulent green berries and green sweet pepper.
Palate: Light pepper carries onto fresh citrus, limes and mandarin orange sweetness. A hint of cinnamon with vanilla and oak reveals its years spent in American oak.
Finish: The full spectrum of flavours last well into the finish, slowly fading to expose the clean American oak foundation.
