Description
Ladyburn was the shortest-lived distillery in Scotland and is therefore one of the rarest malt whiskies in the world.
Built by Charles Grant Gordon, great grandson of William Grant on the same site as their Girvan grain distillery, Ladyburn produced malt whisky for less than ten years from 1966 to 1975 and was then demolished.
The family held back a small number of casks of which this is one of the last few remaining. 174685 – Cask 89/199-74 has produced only 157 bottles.
