Description
King’s Inch Glasgow Single Malt Whisky has been painstakingly distilled for an exceptionally characterful and smooth Lowland Single Malt.
Named after the old imperial measurement of an inch, and a forgotten island in the Clyde, their first bottling is an approachable contemporary single malt with exceptional character.
Distilled with West-Coast malt, innovative distillation methods and water drawn from Loch Katrine- it has spent just the right amount of time in hand-selected Bourbon and Oloroso casks before making its way in the world. Bottled at 46% ABV and non-chill filtered, it is a whisky of exceptional length and character.
Tasting Notes:
Nose: Fresh green apple, softening to verdant barley, sweet vanilla and caramelised sugar.
Palate: On a first taste, subtle citrus, green apple and hints of pineapple are quickly joined by rich espresso coffee, molasses and notes of chocolate powder.
Finish: Long and warming, with rich buttered toffee, black pepper and sweet spice notes of clove, cinnamon and ginger.
Gluten-Free.
