Glenmorangie’s Ealanta is the 4th Edition in the series of Private Edition malts from this Tain distillery. Ealanta is aged exclusively in virgin oak casks sourced from Missouri’s ‘Mark Twain National park’, USA. Dr Bill Lumsden sourced the best oak from slow grown trees to age this single malt. Air dried for 2 years this virgin oak imparts incredible smoothness, with layers of vanilla and candied orange peel, and sugared almonds on the finish. Bottled 2012
