Description

This exceptional Glenfiddich 21 Year Old Gran Reserva is matured and mellowed in American oak casks for 21 years to reach a rich smoothness. It is then finished in hand selected Caribbean rum casks for a further four months maturation, infusing it with indulgent notes of toffee, fig and vanilla sweetness. These complex flavours are enhanced by a spicy warmth, oak and the merest hint of smoke on the palate whilst exquisite and rich aromas of fudge and hints of ripe banana intermingle luxuriously on the nose.

Tasting Note

NOSE – Intense and sweet, floral hints of banana, figs and rich toffee.

TASTE – Initially soft, then brisk and vibrant, peppery, a touch of smoke, vanilla, ginger, lime, spices and new leather.

FINISH – Very long, warming and spicy.
