Every year they take a little bit of barley and instead of distilling it twice, they distil it 3 times. The end result is a smoother and lighter whisky than the norm. It has become a hit with distillery team.
Aroma: Vanilla custard, slightly citrus with a hint of orange, spotted dick and rich dark chocolate. Creamy toffee and butterscotch. Subtle notes of liquorice.
Taste: Vanilla, light citrus fruits. Slightly dry, dark chocolate, light honey. Again the subtle liquorice is there.
