Description

Part of the 2018 Diageo Special Release, this blended malt is a marriage of single malts from Diageo’s coastal distilleries including Inchgower and Clynelish on the east coast, and Talisker, Oban, Lagavulin, and Caol Ila in the west. Matured in a combination of first-fill American ex-bourbon casks, refill American oak hogsheads, refill European oak butts and ex-bodega European oak butts, this unique blended malt has been bottled at a cask strength of 57.1% abv.

Said to capture the character of Scotland’s coastline, Cladach has aromas of sea salt, warm sand and seaweed with the palate bringing more salty notes, with rich honey and citrus.
