Barrel Reserve is a fresh, vibrant expression of Arran Single Malt with the traditional hallmarks of classic Arran citrus and a delicious layer of vanilla sweetness.

Production Notes

100% matured in first-fill Bourbon Barrels. This expression combines casks at 7 – 8 years old with older casks to create a fresh and vibrant introduction to Arran Single Malt. It is distilled and matured at Lochranza, lightly filtered and bottled at 43%. The colour is entirely natural.

They love the Barrel Reserve for its flexibility. It bottled at a slightly lower ABV of 43% and works equally well as a short serve, or in a longer drink.

Tasting Notes

Colour – Light gold.

Nose – Lemon, citrus fruits and green apple.

Palate – Vanilla sweetness coats the palate with light cinnamon notes in the background.

Finish – Lingering and subtle, with hints of sweet oak and a good balance between fruit and spice.
